Wicked Sticks Gallery Public Education Programs

From its inception in 1990, Wicked Sticks gallery in San Francisco has been the nexus for didjeridu activity in North America. Our Public Program series showcases leading Aboriginal artists in concert and workshops.

Featured artists have included: Mark Atkins (Yamitji), Alan Dargin (Yolngu), David Hudson (Guguyangali), Burrigan Jerome (Bundjalung), Guboo Ted Thomas (Yuin), Janawirri Yipparka (Yamitji/Wongartha), Paddy Carrol Jungarrayi (Walpari), Dinny Nolan Tjampijimpu (Walpari), and David Blanasi (Miaili).

British didjeridu recording artist Stephen Kent of Lights in a Fat City and Trance Mission is the resident artist at Wicked Sticks Gallery offering on-going workshops on "The Art of Playing the Didjeridu" and advice on instrument selection.
