This week's playlist: 
The first half of today's show I dedicate to the people of southern Asia who were devastated by the terrible tsunamis that have taken so many lives and affected more than a dozen countries countries in the region around the Indian Ocean. I hope that the expression of these cultures through the playing of their music on the air can bring us closer to them in these terrible times.

In the 2nd part of the show I celebrated the new release of classic popular guitar music from Tanzania in the 1980's. Incidentally, Tanzania was also affected by the tsunami's this past week. After the trials and tribulations of 2004 I hope and pray that the lives of people around the world be affected more positively in 2005 and that we can all, as global citizens, turn our faces towards a time of far greater enlightenment and peace among us all.
